About the Developer

My name is Qassim Bazzi. I am the sole developer of Recollect and founder of Mythos United.

Two years ago, I became aware of the challenges of dementia home care through my grandpa, who suffered from Alzheimer’s. After searching and failing to find a single tool that could support both the memory and practical sides of caring for him at home, I decided to build one myself, just for him. About a year into teaching myself how to code and developing Recollect from the ground up, my project grew big enough to become a real app. Now, after two years of development, I’m proud to release Recollect in hopes that families everywhere can finally rest a little easier with one simple, complete resource to guide them through dementia home care.

I believe everyone facing the difficulties of dementia care deserves access to this essential aid - a tool to help ease this challenging journey for patients, families, and caregivers alike.
