Terms of Service
Effective Date: Sunday, April 5, 2026
Welcome to Recollect.
These Recollect Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Mythos United LLC (“Mythos United,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of the Recollect mobile application, including all related features, content, documentation, and services made available through the application (collectively, the “App” or “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using Recollect, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
Recollect is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms.
If you create, manage, upload, or share information on behalf of another person, including a loved one, patient, family member, or care recipient, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority, consent, or other sufficient permission to do so.
2. Purpose of the App; No Medical Care or Emergency Services
Recollect is designed to support care coordination, organization, and communication for individuals living with dementia, their caregivers, and their families. The App may allow users to organize medications, events, moods, contacts, memories, caregiver relationships, and related care information.
Recollect is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Nothing in the App is intended to replace the judgment of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, emergency responders, or other licensed professionals. Medication schedules, reminders, notes, care activity, and mood records are provided for informational and organizational purposes only.
You are solely responsible for:
verifying medications, dosages, timing, and care instructions;
confirming that reminders, records, and shared care information are accurate;
consulting qualified professionals regarding any medical, mental health, or caregiving decisions; and
calling emergency services or seeking immediate professional care in an emergency.
You should never delay or avoid seeking professional medical advice because of information displayed in the App.
3. Accounts and Account Types
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your information updated.
Recollect may offer different account structures, including:
Primary Accounts, which may be used for self-management or for managing care as the primary caregiver for another person; and
Caregiver Accounts, which may connect to one or more Primary Accounts for collaborative support.
Each account may include a unique Recollect ID (“R-ID”) used to facilitate connections between users. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and your R-ID and for confirming the identity of any person you connect with through the App.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at recollect-support@mythosunited.org if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.
4. Connected Caregiving and Shared Access
Recollect includes features that allow collaborative caregiving. By connecting accounts through the App, you understand and agree that connected users may be able to access, view, add, edit, manage, or delete certain information associated with the shared care relationship, including medication data, care notes, event details, activity records, relative information, media, and other care-related content.
If you connect to another user, invite another user, or accept a connection request, you authorize the access and sharing enabled by that connection. It is your responsibility to ensure that:
you intend to grant that person access;
you are comfortable with the scope of information they may see or act upon; and
you remove or manage connections if that access is no longer appropriate.
Primary Accounts may be permitted to view and manage connected caregivers. Caregiver Accounts may be permitted to support multiple Primary Accounts. We do not independently verify the identity, qualifications, licensing status, or trustworthiness of any caregiver, family member, or other connected user.
5. User Content and Responsibility for Shared Information
You may upload, submit, create, store, or share information through the App, including names, medication details, events, notes, photos, profile images, mood entries, memory materials, relative information, and other data (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by uploading or submitting User Content, you grant Mythos United LLC a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, and display that User Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and provide the App and its features.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent and warrant that:
you have all necessary rights, permissions, and authority to upload and share it;
your User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
your User Content does not violate any law, regulation, court order, contract, privacy right, intellectual property right, or other third-party right; and
any health, care, or personal information you upload about another person is uploaded with appropriate authorization or consent.
We may remove or restrict access to User Content if we believe it violates these Terms, creates legal risk, threatens safety, or interferes with the App.
6. Activity Logs, Accountability Features, and Shared Records
Recollect may include accountability and transparency features, including a Recent Activity feed or similar records that automatically log actions taken within the App. These records may include timestamps, categories, action details, and the identity or profile information of the user who performed the action.
By using the App, you understand and agree that actions taken by you within shared care environments may be recorded and displayed to connected users as part of the App’s collaborative functionality.
These activity records are intended to support care coordination and accountability. They are not legal records, medical records, or guaranteed complete audit trails. We do not guarantee that every action will be captured accurately or that records will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times.
7. Medication, Mood, Event, and Notification Features
The App may include medication tracking, dose customization, medication history, mood markers, care events, summaries, reminders, and notifications. These features are convenience tools only.
You acknowledge and agree that:
notifications and reminders may be delayed, missed, interrupted, duplicated, or not delivered;
device settings, operating systems, third-party services, internet access, permissions, battery status, and other external factors may affect App functionality;
medication status records, mood records, event reminders, and shared notes may depend on user input and may be incomplete or inaccurate; and
you remain fully responsible for all caregiving, supervision, and medication administration decisions, regardless of whether the App sends or fails to send a reminder.
Mood-related features are organizational tools only and are not intended to diagnose, monitor, or treat any mental health, neurological, or behavioral condition.
8. Privacy and Data Handling
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy. By using Recollect, you acknowledge that we may collect, store, process, and use information as described in that policy and as reasonably necessary to provide the App.
Because Recollect supports shared caregiving, information you submit may be visible to connected users based on your account structure, connection status, and feature settings. You understand that collaborative use of the App necessarily involves some sharing of care-related information among authorized connected users.
9. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Mythos United LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices that you own or control.
The App is licensed, not sold, to you.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or misleading purpose;
impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, authority, or relationship to a care recipient;
connect to accounts, upload data, or share information without appropriate authorization;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other accounts, servers, or networks;
interfere with, disrupt, damage, or overburden the App or its infrastructure;
upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the App, except where prohibited by law from restricting such activity;
copy, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App; or
use automated means, scraping, bots, or similar tools to access or extract data from the App without our prior written consent.
11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, software, visual interfaces, branding, logos, text, graphics, compilations, and other content provided by us, is owned by or licensed to Mythos United LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the App or our content is transferred to you.
12. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, comments, ideas, or other feedback regarding Recollect, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback for any lawful purpose without compensation or attribution to you.
13. Updates and Changes to Functionality
We may from time to time release updates, upgrades, bug fixes, patches, redesigns, or new features. These updates may add, modify, limit, or remove features or functionality.
You acknowledge that the App may not function properly unless you install the latest available version. We reserve the right to require updates and to discontinue support for older versions of the App at any time. If you fail to install required updates, some or all features may become unavailable or function improperly.
14. Third-Party Services and Platforms
The App may rely on or interoperate with third-party services, operating systems, cloud providers, notification systems, analytics tools, app stores, or device features. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or policies of those third parties.
Your use of the App may also be subject to the terms, policies, and fees of your mobile carrier, device manufacturer, Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party providers.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if:
you violate these Terms;
we believe your use of the App poses a risk to other users, the App, or us;
we are investigating suspected misconduct;
we are required to do so by law; or
we discontinue the App or any portion of it.
You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account through the App if that functionality is available.
Termination or deletion of your account may not immediately remove all data from collaborative or shared care environments. To preserve continuity, accountability, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, certain records may remain retained for a reasonable period or may remain visible to connected users where those records form part of a shared care history, activity log, or other jointly used content structure.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYTHOS UNITED LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US, IF ANY, FOR USE OF THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mythos United LLC and its affiliates, officers, members, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:
your use or misuse of the App;
your User Content;
your violation of these Terms;
your violation of any law or third-party right; or
your lack of authority or permission to upload, manage, or share another person’s information through the App.
